Do you have a sewing machine that you picked up at a yard sale, got on line, inherited from someone or just have and you don’t know how to use it? Do you want to learn to sew? Bring your sewing machine to this one day class and learn how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin and learn the basics of how to sew with your machine. Learn the straight stitch, zig zag, how to use your free-arm etc. You will leave with a drawstring bag that you made yourself! Materials for bag included in class price.

Designed for your personal projects! We’ll get you started on a new project, or help you get back on track on a stuck project. We'll address working with difficult fabrics, measuring and making alterations, replacing zippers, hemming and hand sewing. Please bring basic sewing supplies, including thread, sewing machine, hand sewing needles, straight pins, fabric scissors, measuring tape, a seam ripper and some scrap fabric to test stitches on and your own sewing machine. Sewing is very satisfying and can be so rewarding! Come to this class and leave with pride and confidence saying, “look what I made!” Instructor: Andrea Zax.
